Our second Hospicare in Bloom event was held on the 19 May in the marquee at Exmouth Rugby Club and we were pleased to raise around £600.  This year in addition to demonstrations from Jan Saunders and Lympstone Nurseries we had a talk from Sheila Parker on 'Creating a Garden'

At least everyone started in the dry at our annual ‘Canapés on the Quayside’ on Wednesday 14 July! Despite the few showers over 200 people thoroughly enjoyed the evening with the Take 4 jazz band providing the entertainment. Our thanks go to everyone who helped on the day, Eagle One for their sponsorship and local businesses for their support of the draw. The event has raised over £2,000 for Exmouth & Lympstone Hospiscare which cares for patients and their families in the community.This is a very popular event in our fundraising calendar and we are very grateful for everyone who came with their umbrellas to make it such a success.
